Governor Goofiness

I just love Texas politics. Our politicians who speak so much about fortifying the national boarders continue to tear down the boarders of goofiness. There is no one so capable of self parody as Rick Perry. As the Tea Party nation dances in spasms of intolerance, Perry sings in homophobic non sequiturs of epic proportion. He said, "There is still a land of opportunity, friends — it's called Texas. We're creating more jobs than any other state in the nation. ... Would you rather live in a state like this, or in a state where a man can marry a man?"

This is the man who seeks to make Texas economically competitive by cutting funding to our universities by 10%.

In a feeble attempt to match witlessness Democratic challenger Bill White quipped, "Texans are tired of political theater." Ha!!! Yeah Right!!!!
